Data formats & preparation

What works best:

• CSV files
• One row per time period or category
• Clear column headers
• Numeric values for indicators



Common use cases include:

• Monthly or yearly counts
• Rates per population
• Program activity counts
• Outcome indicators

The tools are intentionally forgiving, but cleaner inputs lead to clearer outputs.

Tool troubleshooting

If something doesn’t look right:

• Confirm your CSV uses commas, not semicolons
• Check that numeric columns don’t include text or symbols
• Make sure the first row contains column names
• Try refreshing the page after uploading data

Preview modes may behave differently than published pages. Some browser security settings can also affect local file loading.
