Why we exist

To support community driven mental health and crisis systems through data, design, and strategic facilitation.

Communities are rarely short on commitment. They are short on time, on technical capacity, and on a shared picture of how their own system works. That gap is where preventable failures live. A referral that goes nowhere. Two agencies funding the same service while a third gap goes unaddressed. A coalition that meets faithfully for three years without changing a pathway.

Strategraph exists to close that gap, by making systems legible and by leaving partners more capable than we found them.

Leadership

Donald Harris, PhD, MBA

Founder and Managing Director

Don founded Strategraph in 2022 after years of work at the intersection of veteran mental health, crisis systems, and information science. His practice combines facilitation experience across federal and state programs with formal research training in how people engage with, and disengage from, digital mental health tools.

That combination shapes how Strategraph works. Facilitation without analytic rigor produces pleasant meetings. Analysis without facilitation produces reports nobody implements. Don built the firm to do both, and to be honest with partners about which one their problem actually calls for.

His research develops the Inhibitor Abandonment Matrix, a model for understanding why people stop using mental health applications, and the Data Empowerment Model, a three tier progression describing how organizations move from having data to acting on it.

Continuing to serve

Strategraph is a Certified Veteran Owned Small Business, and that is not only a procurement category. Veteran and military connected populations move through systems that were never built to coordinate with each other, and the cost of that fragmentation is measured in lives.

A meaningful share of our work concerns those systems specifically. The rest applies the same discipline to community mental health more broadly, because the structural problems are largely the same.
